It might just be me, but this really isn’t the kind of movie I have any sort of deep interest in, and as such, I won’t be able to be all that objective here. The point being, this is just a simple, typical operation, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, which I was hoping to judge by what others have said about Dahomey. Anyway, yeah, I just don’t have much else to say other than it doesn’t change anything in terms of how I see anything. Which is good, but then not good at the same time, but oh well, maybe next time.. Check out the full schedule for the 62nd New York Film Festival this fall.

If you’re like me, I didn’t know anything about this story at all going into the film, so it was a really interesting watch.

Aside from a couple scenes, it lacks the suspense that could’ve made this a really great thriller

This is a good not great movie, but Anna Kendrick did a great job in her directorial debut. I really liked what she did with this film, it just felt like it was missing something though. Regardless, this is a solid movie that I would recommend giving a watch once and I hope we see more of Anna Kendrick directing in the future!. The final season of "What We Do in the Shadows" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.

The haunted house scenes in “Terrifier” were filmed at a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The filmmakers used what they already had at their disposal. “Terrifier 2” is a gruesome and stupid slasher, the sequel to “Terrifier”, with incredible hype. The absurd plot provides no explanation for who Art the Clown is, how he was resurrected, or why he is a serial killer. It is reserved for the audience who likes bloody, violent and brutal murders without any explanation. In the middle of the credits, there is an unpleasant final scene that indicates that there will be another sequel.
