I’ve been waiting for The Penguin since it was first announced that it was coming to the series, and I can tell you that it’s just as good as I expected. He was a standout in Batman and is even better in the lead role. On top of that, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone.

The two battle it out to see who is Gotham’s number one mobster and “bring order to all the chaos.” Some people were worried that a side character like the Penguin wouldn’t be able to carry the show and it wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not because this is more than just a villain in a superhero franchise, #39; a great crime drama in its own right.
