According to Wikipedia, it’s been called the most common hand clapping game in the English speaking world. It teaches rhythm, rhyme and hand eye coordination.

May we present, Miss Mary Mack…

 

 

Repeat the above movements for each line below:

With silver buttons, buttons, buttons
All down her back, back, back

She asked her mother, mother, mother
For 15 cents, cents, cents
